Tujenge Biashara is an entrepreneurship platform that supports Micro enterprises operating in Sub Saharan Africa. We do this by providing specific packages of training, support, funding and mentoring to deserving entrepreneurs operating in underserved areas far from the reach of conventional entrepreneurial resources.
We deploy and increase initiatives that:
Focus on accelerator programmes, competitions and funding opportunities that specifically encourage gender-focused ventures
Facilitate networking between businesses nationally and internationally with a view to sharing best practice and replicating successful models. Ideally, this is be coupled with kick-starter crowdfunding

The tool's goal is to ensure provision of critical information to 10 million plus learners representing SMEs/MSMEs in the Sub African region to enable them to build economic resilience. By sending in the code “SME” to Maarifa's SMS or WhatsApp channel, MSMEs are now able to chat with the Maarifa digital adviser to access targeted digital training on health, finances, business, education, and stress management and linkages to high value products and services.
The app is a digital financial marketplace where micro and medium enterprises operating in Sub Saharan Africa can access working capital in form of either debt or equity from remittances originating individual deposits and from Africans locally and in the Diaspora.
